Machine Operator in Rocky Mount, VA

The operator of the Vertical Form Fill & Seal Machine is responsible for setting up and running jobs within customer specifications. The operator oversees all production runs under direction of the department/shift supervisor, is responsible for verifying materials used, setting up machines, changing film and ink, verifying the completeness and accuracy of all paperwork, roll changes and maximizing machine time. Strong basic math skills are a must along with high attention to detail, strong written and oral communication abilities. Position is required to bend, squat, crouch, reach, pull, push, stand, sit, and maneuver up to 25 pounds without equipment and without accommodation.
